At the moment, the developers of SkQ1 have temporarily reoriented their project and directed all their efforts to create a new dosage form of mitochondrial antioxidant. It is assumed that the administration of the drug to patients with obvious respiratory insufficiency (requiring oxygen therapy) will prevent the further development of ARDS and reduce the need for ventilation.
